The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has mandated all entities that want to send SMS to register their organizations, headers, and templates along with required consent information on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platforms to curb unsolicited commercial communication (UCC). If you want to send SMSs then, you need to first register your entity on DLT. The DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) platform keeps records of all the transactions made by the network participants. After registering on DLT, you will then need to configure your sender ID with Phonon Central.

Hence, perform the following steps to be able to send SMSes :

  1. Complete DLT Registration process. Refer this link for more details on this process.

  2. Configure ‘Sender ID’ in Web UI. Visit this link for more details.
